The Madison Hotel is half a block away from Convent Station. New Jersey Transit’s Midtown Direct Express stops at the Convent Station train station on an hourly basis, taking people to and from New York's Penn Station. Please check the NJ Transit website for more information. We will post a train schedule for April 10, 2011 closer to the wedding.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is closest, located less than a 30 minute car ride from The Madison Hotel.

The Madison Hotel is about a 1 hour drive from Manhattan and offers directions on their website.

Bulletin Boards for Ride and Room Sharing
We’re all friendly people! If you would like to travel or lodge with other friendly wedding guests, or if you have a ride or a room to share, please post on one of our on-line bulletin boards:
•Ride Board: Use this if you are looking for a ride to or from the wedding, or if you are driving and have room in your car for other wedding guests.
•Lodging Board: Use this if you are looking to split a hotel room with another guest, or if you’re interested in staying at another wedding guest’s home, or if you can offer out-of-town wedding guests a place to stay at your home.
These bulletin boards are only open to wedding guests - to access them, you’ll need the password you received with your invitation. Any information you post on the boards can be seen by all other wedding guests with the password, but will not be visible to anyone else. The boards are hosted on our own server—we won’t give out any personal information or email addresses to anyone, and we will delete everything on the boards after the wedding.

Lodging
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Madison Hotel for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, at a discount rate of $99 per night. Call their reservation number at 973-285-1800 and mention our wedding when you book to get the discount.
We have a block of suites reserved at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Morristown, a five minute drive from the Madison Hotel. These suites might be good for families with children, or groups wanting to share a suite with multiple beds and a pull-out sofa. The discount rate for a one-bedroom suite is $99, for a double-bed suite is $109, for a two-bedroom suite is $159 and for a trio suite is $179. Their reservation number is 973-971-0008. Mention our wedding when you book to get the discount.
The Best Western Inn in Morristown, also a five minute drive from the Madison Hotel, has a block of rooms reserved for our guests for $89. Their reservation number is 973-540-1700. Mention our wedding when you book to get the discount.
